SOCIAL SERVICES

A complex web of underfunded nonprofit and government agencies struggles to provide services to the country's most disenfranchised populations. It faces many challenges: Client relationships. Limited funding. Coordination of care. Policies imposed by government agencies and other funders. Balancing differing cultural norms and social practices of caregivers and clients.
The Public Conversations Project helps social services organizations face a multitude of challenges related to identity, culture, and relationships:
- Enabling program personnel to explore issues of power and diversity
- Enhancing client services through staff training
- Offering new perspectives on service delivery and communications
- Promoting effective collaboration between organizations
